Tee hee - So I had to make myself a nifty nice Crochet Hook Case :D
Pattern: Crochet Hook Case by Priscilla Hewitt
It's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, and it bulges funny on the inside, but it holds my hooks and it's in my favorite colour :D :D So that's all that matters in my book.
Speaking of books - Made the CUTEST little bookworm to send in a Swap on Swapbot :D
I love him so much and he took MAYBE 10 minutes!! It was great!! (And it helped with the frustration that the hooker case was taking so long. Once it was complete I felt better and was able to quickly finish the case)
Pattern: Michelle's Bookworm Pattern (You'll need to register at Ravelry Tell them that SnowAngel337 Sent you! But be patient, They have a HUGE list of people trying to get in!!)

I'm on a ROLL People!!!
WOO HOO!!! So I finished my Dish Cloth in time to send off tomorrow :D Woo Hoo!
I'm Pretty excited about this and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY! I'm Pretty Proud of myself because this seemed to be a bit more difficult of a pattern and I still pulled it off with minimal problems. It's not as flat as I would have hoped it to be, but I supposed that's all in the learning process and learning to control the gauge as well (Which I know is a bit of a problem for me already, so I'll just have to practice a bit more it seems.
Anywhoo - Here's the final project:
Next up:

I'm hoping that this one goes as smoothly, as It will make a beautiful gift for a baby girl to be :)

*Preens* I have to say I'm pretty darned proud of myself! I took these pics last night but I finished an avacado green and pale yellow scrubbie as well :) I sure hope that my swap partner likes them :D :D If not she can send them back because I love it! *lol*
Anywhoo - On to the Tulip Dish cloth now! (For another swap) This one should prove a bit more tricky, but I'm up for the challenge (I think *lol*)

Starting My Crochet Journey!
So i just taught myself how to crochet this February 2009 and I wanted to keep track of the projects I've done so I can track my improvement.
My first project was a Beret and pair of Mary-janes for a neighbour who's baby is due very soon. I got the pattern from Knotty Generation and I have to say they turned out beautifully, If a little small because I used the wrong yarn *lol*
Heres my final products:
I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself - As my first full project from a pattern, I did pretty darned good :D
Right now I'm working on a few things:
The Clamshell Facial Scrubbie Set By Barbara Bradford
and matching
The Facial Scrubbies by Barbara Bradford
And will be making one of these next
All of them will be going to people via SwapBot :D (And then I'll probably make myself one of each just because they're REALLY awesome :D)
